An account “switch” is when a customer begins to purchase natural gas from a different Energy Service Provider (ESP) than the previous ESP they were already with. When this kind of account change occurs, it is called a “switch”. PG&E communicates to us when our customers are scheduled to switch away from our service to another supplier, and who the other company is. We received data from PG&E that your account(s) was scheduled to switch away and have found in many cases our customers, like you, were unaware of such a switch.

We chose to send letters to all our customers out at the same time, after reviewing the data PG&E sent us at length. Although some time may have passed since your “Future Switch” occurred, if you were unaware of this switch, we consider this information valuable to our customers and have decided to send you a letter notifying you of the situation anyway.

You or someone at your company was contacted by a representative of another ESP. Through that communication, the other ESP was able to gather enough information to enroll your account. You may have agreed to their service and terms, or you may be completely unaware of their pricing and contract terms. Either way, this pending or completed switch is as a result of the other ESP’s actions, not PG&E or Tiger.

If you think you did agree to another ESP’s service…
- AND You are not in your initial contract term with Tiger
- AND You do not want to continue your service with Tiger
…Simply send us a written cancellation notice referencing your PG&E Service Agreement Number and we will honor your request.
If you think that you did agree to another ESP’s service and you are still within your initial contract term with Tiger, you will need to remain with or come back to Tiger’s service until the end of your initial contract term.
If you know you did not authorize the switch away from Tiger, please sign and return this attached Cancellation of Future Switch Notice:
Cancellation of Future Switch Notice
You can find all the information you need to complete and send this form on the letter we sent you. Please also contact PG&E and request your future switch be cancelled as soon as possible. If you have already switched and you would like to come back to Tiger, please request that you be dropped from your current supplier as soon as possible. Then Contact Usso we can re-enroll your account and we can begin saving money once again!

It is important for you to know what price your account(s) will be charged for the entire life of your contract, as well as whether you can be agreeable to all the contract terms, including the cancellation policy. You also want to be certain you are with a company that has your best interests at heart; a company that will work hard to not only save you money, but provide you the best customer service possible.
